What Counts as "Blank"
A page with only a white background and no visible content is obviously blank. Pages with only a header or footer (like a page number with no body content) can optionally be included in the detection. Adjust the sensitivity threshold to catch near-blank pages with minimal content like faint watermarks.
Manual Override
The tool shows thumbnails of detected blank pages. If a page was flagged incorrectly (e.g., a page with a light background image was detected as blank), uncheck it from the removal list before applying. Only the pages you confirm will be removed.
Before vs After
A 50-page PDF with 8 blank pages becomes a 42-page PDF after removal. File size decreases proportionally (blank pages still take space in a PDF). The page numbering in the output PDF reflects the actual content pages, not the original numbering including blanks.
