Controlling Merge Order

If you have already merged but the page order needs further adjustment, use the reorder pages tool on the merged file. This shows all pages as thumbnails and lets you drag individual pages to the correct position.
Alphabetical Naming Helps
If you are combining chapter files, name them with leading numbers (01_intro.pdf, 02_chapter1.pdf) so they appear in the right order in your file picker when multi-selecting.
