How to Crop PDF Pages on iPhone (No App Download)

Trim margins and crop PDF pages on iPhone in Safari — remove white borders or crop to a specific area. Free, no app install.

iOS has no built-in PDF cropping feature. FixMyPDF's crop tool works in Safari on iPhone — enter margin values or drag crop handles, and download the trimmed PDF. No app download, no account required.

Open Safari and Load the Crop Tool

Open Safari on your iPhone and go to fixmypdf.in/tools/crop-pdf. Tap "Select PDF" to choose your file from the Files app. The tool shows a page preview to help you set crop values accurately.

Enter Crop Margins on iPhone

Tap each margin input (Top, Bottom, Left, Right) and enter a value using the number keyboard. Start conservatively — too large a value will crop content you want to keep. A preview updates as you type to show the result.

Cropping Scanned Documents on iPhone

When you scan with iPhone's built-in scanner, the resulting PDF sometimes has wide grey or black borders from imperfect scanning. Crop those borders away: enter 20–30 points for each edge to remove the border while keeping all document content.

Apply to Specific Pages

If only some pages have problematic margins (mixed portrait/landscape in one PDF, for example), select specific page numbers to crop only those. Other pages remain at their original dimensions.

Crop to Readable Width

A common iPhone use case: a PDF designed for A3 printing that's very wide and requires scrolling horizontally on your phone. Crop away the margins to bring the content closer to a standard mobile-readable width. This dramatically improves readability in iOS PDF viewers.

Download and Open the Cropped PDF

Tap "Crop PDF" and the result downloads to your Downloads folder. Open it in Files to verify the margins have been trimmed as expected. Share via AirDrop, email, or save to iCloud Drive for reading in any app.

More iPhone PDF Tools

After cropping, you might compress the PDF on iPhone before emailing, or merge cropped pages with other PDFs. Both free, both in Safari.
