How to Merge Multiple PDF Files at Once (Free, Unlimited)

Combine 5, 10, or 50 PDF files in a single operation. No file count limit, no size limit, no account required.

FixMyPDF's merge tool handles any number of files in one operation. Add 2 files or 50 files, order them, and merge — no account, no limit, no upload.

Adding Multiple Files

When you click Add Files, you can select multiple files at once using Ctrl+Click (Windows) or Cmd+Click (Mac) to select several files in the file picker. Alternatively, drag a group of PDFs from your file explorer directly into the merge area.

Reordering Before Merge

The file list shows thumbnails or file names in order. Drag to reorder files before merging — the final PDF will follow this order exactly. This is essential when merging chapter files, monthly reports, or multi-section documents.

File Size Considerations

When merging many large PDFs, the combined file is held in browser memory during processing. Modern computers handle this easily for combined sizes up to several hundred MB. For combined sizes over 1 GB, consider merging in batches of 10–15 files and then merging the resulting files.

Adding More Files After Starting

If you forgot a file, you can add more before clicking Merge. The tool allows adding files incrementally to the list.
