How to Merge PDF Files and Images Together (Free)

Combine PDFs with JPG, PNG, HEIC, and other image files into a single PDF document. No software required.

To merge a PDF with image files, the images need to be converted to PDF first, then merged. FixMyPDF has both tools — image to PDF conversion and PDF merge — and both are free with no upload.

Step 1: Convert Images to PDF

For JPG images: go to fixmypdf.in/tools/jpg-pdf. For PNG: fixmypdf.in/tools/png-pdf. For HEIC (iPhone photos): fixmypdf.in/tools/heic-pdf. Upload your images and convert each to a PDF.

Step 2: Merge All PDFs

Go to fixmypdf.in/tools/merge. Add your original PDFs and the newly converted image PDFs. Reorder to place them in the right sequence. Click Merge.

Use Case: Document With Supporting Photos

A common scenario is a text document (contract, report, form) that needs photos appended as evidence or appendix. Convert the photos to PDF pages, then merge after the main document.

Quality of Image Pages in Merged PDF

Images converted to PDF retain their original resolution. There is no quality loss in the conversion or merge steps — the pixel data is preserved.
