How to Convert PDF to JPG on iPhone (Save Pages as Photos)
Turn PDF pages into JPG images on iPhone in Safari — save to Camera Roll or Files app. Free, no app download, works on iPad too.
iOS doesn't have a built-in "export PDF as image" feature. Taking a screenshot of a PDF page works but gives you a low-quality image with UI elements. FixMyPDF's PDF to JPG tool extracts every page as a proper high-quality JPG — works in Safari on iPhone with no app needed.
Open Safari and Load the Tool
Open Safari on your iPhone and go to fixmypdf.in/tools/pdf-jpg. Tap "Select PDF" to choose your file from the Files app — from iCloud Drive, local storage, or any connected service like Google Drive.
Why Screenshots of PDFs Aren't Enough
A screenshot of a PDF page on iPhone captures whatever's on screen — at screen resolution, with status bar, notch, and any overlapping UI elements. Our tool renders each PDF page at full resolution without any screen elements, producing clean images suitable for editing or publishing.
Choose Quality and Convert
Select your JPG quality (High, Medium, or Low). Tap "Convert to JPG" — the tool renders each page using the HTML5 Canvas API and packages the images for download. Processing happens in your iPhone's Safari browser.
Download and Save to Photos
The images download as a ZIP to your Downloads folder in Files. Extract the ZIP (tap it) to get individual JPG files. To save a JPG to your Camera Roll, tap it in Files, tap Share, then "Save Image". It then appears in your Photos app.
Converting a PDF Page to Share on Instagram or WhatsApp
A common use case: you have a flyer or certificate as a PDF and want to share it as an image on social media. Convert the PDF to JPG with our tool, save the relevant page to your Camera Roll, and share from Photos directly to Instagram, WhatsApp, or any other app.
Works on iPad
The tool works identically on iPad with a larger preview. On iPad, you can see more pages at once and the download/extract workflow is the same via the Files app. Safari on iPadOS supports the same Canvas API used for rendering.
Need Just One Page?
If you only need one specific page as a JPG (not the whole PDF), extract that page as a PDF first, then convert the single-page PDF to JPG. Or let the full conversion run and just use the one image you need from the downloaded ZIP.
