How to Print a PDF as a Booklet on Windows

Print a PDF as a folded booklet on Windows 10 and 11. Free tool to reorder pages into booklet imposition.

Windows does not have a native booklet print option. Use FixMyPDF to create a properly impositioned booklet PDF, then print normally.

Step 1: Create the Booklet PDF

Go to fixmypdf.in/tools/nup. Upload. Select Booklet. Download the impositioned PDF.

Step 2: Print It

Open the downloaded PDF in Edge or Chrome. Print with duplex enabled (flip on short edge). Page count must be divisible by 4 for perfect booklets — pad with blank pages if needed.

Page Count Requirement

A booklet needs pages in multiples of 4 (4, 8, 12, 16…). If your PDF is 10 pages, add 2 blank pages at the end first using the add blank page tool.
